At Athena, every procedure is planned following a detailed medical assessment and involves dedicated clinical, surgical, and administrative resources. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to maintain transparency and clarity for every patient.

1. Medical Grounds

If the treating doctor determines that a proposed surgery or treatment is medically unsuitable or cannot be performed on legitimate clinical grounds, the eligible refundable amount will be processed as per the applicable terms.

2. Patient-Initiated Cancellation

If a patient chooses to cancel a scheduled surgery:

• Within 30 days of booking: Refund may be considered after a minimum deduction of ₹5,000, along with any applicable charges for services, consultations, consumables, or other resources already utilized.

• After 30 days of booking: The booking amount is strictly non-refundable and non-adjustable against any future surgery, treatment, or service.

Rescheduling does not reset or extend the 30-day cancellation period.

3. Registration Fee

The registration / booking fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from any eligible refund.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed on the 11th of each month and are generally credited within 5–7 working days thereafter.

Refunds are processed only through bank transfer. Patients must provide:

Bank Name | Account Holder’s Name | Account Number | IFSC Code

UPI details are not accepted for refunds.

5. Important Note

The ₹5,000 deduction is the minimum applicable administrative/cancellation deduction. Additional applicable charges may be deducted based on T&C applied.
